Fix what is actually holding your rankings back
Most SEO reports list the same surface problems. We find the structural issues: crawl budget waste, canonical misconfigurations, Core Web Vitals failures. The things that keep a solid site off the first page.
The problem
Good content does not rank on a broken technical foundation
Most SEO audits surface the same problems: missing meta descriptions, images without alt text, no sitemap. None of that explains why a site with strong content and a reasonable domain rating sits on page 4 while a weaker competitor ranks above it.
The real problems are usually deeper: crawl budget being spent on parameterised URLs and filtered pages, duplicate content generated by CMS configurations, Core Web Vitals failures on mobile, or schema markup that is present but incorrectly structured. These are the issues we look for.
Specific deliverables, not vague promises
Every engagement starts with data. Here is exactly what the work covers.
Full Technical Audit
Screaming Frog crawl cross referenced with Google Search Console data. We identify and prioritise crawl errors, indexation issues, duplicate content, canonical misconfigurations, broken internal links, slow pages, and structured data errors. You get a documented fix list ranked by estimated revenue impact.
Core Web Vitals Optimisation
LCP, CLS, and INP improvements across all page types, not just the homepage. We fix render blocking scripts, oversized images, layout shifts from ads or embeds, and slow server response times. We test on real mobile devices, not just Lighthouse in a lab environment.
Site Structure and Crawl Control
URL structure review, internal linking strategy for topical authority, pagination handling, canonical configuration, and robots.txt audit. We ensure search engines crawl what matters and ignore what does not.
Schema Markup and Structured Data
JSON-LD implementation for Organisation, Service, Product, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, and Article types. Schema that passes Google's Rich Results Test and is correctly cross referenced with your site's entity structure. Not template code from a generator.
A technical audit covers more than most agencies check in a full campaign
Every audit covers every technical layer of your site, not just a checklist of the most common issues. The result is a prioritised fix list with every item ranked by its estimated impact on rankings and organic traffic.
Crawl Structure
How search engines move through your site and what they can index

What is indexed versus what should be blocked or de-indexed
Structured Data
Schema markup, rich result eligibility, and @id consistency
Internal Linking
Authority distribution and topical clustering across your site
Canonical Configuration
Duplicate content and canonical tag accuracy
Page Speed
Server response, asset loading, render blocking resources
Search Console Health
Crawl errors, manual actions, coverage issues, and mobile usability
From audit to measurable improvement
Five steps from initial diagnosis to ongoing results tracking.
Full Site Technical Audit
Screaming Frog crawl, Google Search Console review, Core Web Vitals assessment across key page types, and competitor gap analysis. You receive a prioritised fix list before we touch anything.
Keyword and Page Mapping
Map your primary and secondary keywords to specific pages. Identify gaps between what you currently rank for and what your target customers actually search. Uncover pages competing against each other for the same terms.
On Page and Technical Fixes
Title tags, meta structure, heading hierarchy, schema markup, canonical fixes, page speed remediation, and internal linking improvements. Delivered in implementation batches with clear documentation of every change.
Content Planning
Identify which pages need deeper content, which should be consolidated, and where to build topical authority clusters. We produce content briefs, not the content itself, so your team or writers know exactly what to produce.
Monitoring and Reporting
Weekly rank tracking, monthly Search Console review, and a live Looker Studio dashboard showing keyword positions, organic sessions, CTR, and conversion rates. Monthly calls to review what is moving and adjust priorities.

Technical SEO questions, straight answers
How is technical SEO different from regular SEO?
Most SEO services focus on content. Blog posts, keyword placement, backlink outreach. Technical SEO addresses the underlying technical foundation. How search engines crawl your site, what they can and cannot index, how your pages perform under load, and whether your structured data is correct. You can have great content and still rank poorly because of technical issues that prevent search engines from accessing, understanding, or trusting your pages.
How long does technical SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes typically show measurable impact within 60 to 90 days. That is faster than content SEO because you are removing barriers that were actively suppressing your existing rankings. Crawl fixes, Core Web Vitals improvements, and canonical corrections can produce ranking changes within weeks once Google recrawls the affected pages.
Is this a one time audit or ongoing work?
Both are available. We offer a one time technical audit with a full prioritised fix list that your team implements. We also offer ongoing monthly engagements where we handle implementation, monitor results, and continue improving your technical foundation. Most clients with significant SEO investment choose the ongoing option.
What is a Core Web Vitals score and why does it matter?
Core Web Vitals measure how your pages perform from a real user's perspective. How fast the largest element loads (LCP), how stable the layout is during load (CLS), and how quickly the page responds to interaction (INP). Google uses these as ranking signals. A site that performs poorly on Core Web Vitals is being actively held back in search results.
Do you handle content as part of technical SEO?
We focus on the technical side of your site. We will tell you which pages need stronger content, where you have content gaps, and what your page structure should look like. But we do not write content as part of a technical SEO engagement. That is a separate service.
What tools do you use for technical SEO?
Screaming Frog for full site crawl analysis, Google Search Console for crawl data and performance metrics, Ahrefs for keyword and backlink research, PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse for Core Web Vitals, and Looker Studio for client reporting dashboards. We also use Schema Markup Validator for structured data testing.
Can you fix an algorithmic penalty or ranking drop?
We investigate the cause first. Ranking drops are usually algorithmic rather than manual penalties. A technical issue, a quality signal, or a competitor getting better. We diagnose the cause with data before recommending a fix.
Will you report honestly even if rankings do not improve?
Yes. Our monthly reports show keyword positions, organic sessions, and technical metrics accurately. Improvement and decline. If something is not working, we say so and adjust the approach. We do not produce reports designed to make flat results look like progress.
